On October 12, 2022, 15 year-old Aynaz Javaheri from Kermanshah, was killed by the security forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Following Aynaz’s murder, Kermanshah authorities reportedly put pressure on her family to prevent them from going public with news of her death.
