Mohammad Hossein Faraji’s father received a phone call in the middle of the night from a stranger telling him that his son’s body has been found in a park in the Zafaraniyeh neighbourhood of Tehran and that he should come immediately to identify the body. When he arrived, expecting to see his son, Regime forces handed him a photograph of his son’s dead body and form that stated that he had died from a stroke. His father was forced to sign the form even though he had still not seen Mohammad Hossein’s actual body.
Reports indicate that the Regime transferred Mohammad Hossein’s corpse in an ambulance to the Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in Tehran and had him buried without his family present or knowing of his wherabouts. Mohammad Hossein Faraji died on November 1, 2022.
