On Friday, September 30, 2022, 12-year-old Mohammad Rakhsani of Zahedan was tragically shot and killed. Mohammad was gunned down by security forces at the intersection of Kowsar and Baath streets. His brother Mohsen, who had attempted to save him, was also injured in the attack. Even after killing young Mohammad, security forces took his corpse from the scene of the crime and only returned it back to his family three days later.
