On Sunday, December 25, 2022, 12-year-old Soha Etebari from Hulusi Bastak was killed by police officers' reckless shooting at a car on Lamard-Bastak road.
Reports from local sources say that this incident was a result of police opening fire on a civilian vehicle at a checkpoint on Lamard-Bastak road, in the west of the province of Hormozgan. 12-year old Soha was shot while sitting in her family’s vehicle and reports indicate that she died before reaching the operating room.
