Sarina Esmailzadeh was a bright young teenager with a deep desire for love and a profound passion for life. Having recently turned 16, she was contemplating her future plans, including pursuing post-secondary education and finding a job to earn a living. She was excited to experience true independence and to live a normal life, which every person on Earth should have a right to do. Sarina was aware of Iran’s poor economic situation as well as the basic needs of those in her homeland. Sarina was a young girl who believed in what was right. She was not risk-adverse and was always interested in trying new things.
Sarina was killed by Islamic Regime forces on September 29, 2022 in the Mehrshahr neighbourhood of Karaj, in the province of Alborz.
