Yaser Shahouzehi, a 16-year-old from Zahedan, was tragically killed on September 30, 2022. On that fateful Friday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps security forces opened fire on the crowd that had gathered to protest following Friday prayers. Yaser and a group of children were among the crowd in a streets.
Yaser’s heart was pierced by a bullet and he died on the spot. Reports indicate that he was only later identified and confirmed dead by his family on October 8, 2022 (8 days after his death).
